I'm a design-forward Frontend Developer specializing in building web, marketing, and UX experiences.

About

I've worn many hats in my career. From design work, to customer service, to marketing teams - I'm a frontend developer that understands the needs to a variety of team members.

Need great UX and UI experiences? I bring a strong design sensibility to Frontend development, which means seamless collaboration with designers and faithful translation of wireframes into polished, production-ready interfaces. I enjoy working within and building design systems that keep code scalable, consistent, and easy to reuse.

Working on a marketing team? I’ve spent 5+ years on the technical side of marketing, so I understand the importance of performance, SEO, information architecture, and effective landing page layouts. I’m comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teammates.

I’m also editor-friendly. With a strong background in CMS platforms, I design with the end user in mind—whether that’s a content marketer publishing a blog post or a demand gen specialist building a landing page. I create flexible, intuitive editor experiences that help teams move quickly and confidently.

    Sole owner and front-end developer for Submittable.com, delivering full-stack marketing site solutions such as interactive page layouts using Figma designs, cross-collaborating among multiple marketing functions, maintaining and enhancing site based on marketing and company goals.

  • Slalom & Slalom Build
    Engineer → Senior Web Engineer / Nov 2017 - Nov 2021

    Built MarTech solutions using CMS platforms and Salesforce Marketing Cloud before moving to Slalom Build to specialize in front-end engineering. Delivered front-end and CMS-focused solutions for clients across finance, media, and marketing.

    Engineering Intern / Nov 2017 - Dec 2018

    Worked with a development lead to build out a full-stack web application on Ruby on Rails and React, tested code utilizing testing technologies such as RSpec and Cucumber, and worked with an existing code base to reorganize code and maintain code.

    Studied visual storytelling, digital media, and web content creation. Worked as Online Editor for Western Front and Klipsun Magazine, gaining experience in digital publishing, design, and content management.
  • Dev Bootcamp
    Full Stack Engineering Certificate / 2017
    3 month impersive developer bootcamp program focused on technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ruby on Rails. Gained practical experience with pair programming, and collaborative software development.
